Gympie Bicycle Centre has a fully equipped service department with a bicycle mechanic to cater for all of your repair needs.
What brands do we service/repair?
We are able to service most brands and types of bikes, depending on the condition.
We repair most well known brands of bicycles that we are able to source replacement parts for. We can not not repair e-bikes unless they are a brand that we either sell or a reputable brand that we are able to source parts for.
How much does it cost?
A standard service will be $120 including gst, PLUS any parts costs.
Service includes;
- Gear tune
- Brake adjust
- Lube cables
- Minor True & tension wheels
- Check tyre pressure
- Check nuts & bolts
- Minor degrease & wash
- Lubricate chain
- General inspection of bike
How do I book my bicycle in?
You can bring your bicycle to us as at 25 Brisbane Rd Gympie. We have a large carpark with 2 way street access via Brisbane Rd or Victoria Rd. When the bike is booked in we take your details including a contact mobile number so that we are able to send you an SMS as soon as your bike is ready for collection.
How long will the service/repair take?
Staff will let you know the approximate wait time when the equipment is booked in. This can vary depending on the type of repairs required and our workload (possible same day service or up to 7 days in peak time or if parts are required to be ordered). Parts that are not kept in stock can also be on backorder with a supplier which will hold up work at our end. Please note we do not provide any servicing/repair work on a Saturday.
How will I know it is ready for collection?
When the bike is booked in we take your details including a contact mobile number so that we are able to send you an SMS as soon as your equipment is ready for collection. Please make sure you provide us with current contact information.
